K-9 Condor, the Hocking County sheriff's office's first dual-purpose K-9. On
June 7, 2011 was euthanized due to his deteriorating medical conditions.

Condor served the sheriff's office with his partner, Captain Jerrod Alford,
from May 2002 until April 2009.

He spent his retirement with Alford, his wife and their children.

Some of his accolades were he apprehended  a wanted suspect who was hiding
under a shed. And the following His interdiction stop which yielded a large
amount of marijuana and $11,430.00 which was seized and used to buy deputies
tasers.
An armed suspect he apprehended after a vehicle pursuit of 14 miles and then
a foot chase where the suspect kicked K-9 Condor and he then apprehended
him.
Another traffic stop where we recovered a large amount of marijuana.
Traffic stop which recovered crack cocaine, a handgun , money and we
forfeited his vehicle.
