Concealed Carry
On April 8, 2004,
H.B. 12 went into effect allowing citizens to carry concealed
weapons once they meet certain requirements. Each Sheriff
in the State is entrusted with the duties to issue permits
to those individuals who apply for and qualify to carry
a concealed weapon.

Project Lifesaver’s
mission is to use state-of-the-art technology in assisting
those who care for victims of Alzheimer’s and other Related
Mental Dysfunctional Disorders (ARMD) and victims who become
lost. These victims include the elderly and even the
youngest who are afflicted with Down’s Syndrome and Autism.
