The Hocking County Sheriff's Office currently employs one K-9 handler,
Captain Jerrod Alford and his partner "J".
The Sheriff's offIce also has one retired K-9 deputy named Condor.

Captain Jerrod Alford and K-9 “J” completed training at Pine Grove Kennels in Tupper Plains, Ohio.

K-9 “J” is a dual purpose K-9 trained in narcotics detection and criminal apprehension.
