The Hocking County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Deputy in Corrections and Deputy Sheriff.

DEPUTY SHERIFF:
For prospective employees who are peace officers receiving their first commission or participating in our lateral transfer process, please email dwright@hocking.oh.gov for an application or more information.

What to expect with the DEPUTY SHERIFF application process:

Complete and submit the application and background packet. (In-person or via email)

• A background investigation will be conducted.
• A panel interview will be conducted.
• A truth verification test will be conducted (CVSA or polygraph).
• A psychological examination test will be administered.

DEPUTY IN CORRECTIONS:
The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is opening a female-only jail and treatment center in Nelsonville, Ohio. HCSO is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy in Corrections. Females are strongly encouraged to apply.
