Wayne National Forest Sheriff's Patrol Unit
Each year, from April 1st through September 30th, deputies provide patrol coverage to Wayne National Forest on a special duty basis, in accordance with a Cooperative Agreement with the USDA Forest Service.
Patrol activities consist of patrolling campgrounds, developed sites or dispersed areas within the National Forest as well as roads that adjoin the National Forest.
Areas include Company Road ORV area, Sand Run
Picnic Area, Long Ridge ORV area, Monday Creek ORV Trailhead, Shawnee Fire
Tower, Tinker's Cave and trails within the National Forest.
