The Hocking Co. Sheriff’s Office together with the Logan Police Department formed the Logan - Hocking Co. Joint Special Response Team (S.R.T.). With the two teams together as one unit, they are able to serve our community more effectively. The team is made up of uniformed members from both agencies that have more training than the average uniform patrol officer. Members of the S.R.T handle raids on suspected drug dealers, hostage situations and barricaded suspects. No suspects have been injured or shot in any situation that the team has been involved with.
